The island and sightseeing
The idylle island Samui with a fine sand beach, numerous coconut plantations and refreshing waterfalls is located at the northern part of the golf of Thailand about 700 km south of Bangkok.
Although she is not a secret anymore, she is a good alternative to all bigger tourist centers.
No matter if you explore Samui by feet, with a motorcycle or a car, you will meet a treasure of natural beauty and cosmopolitan luxury.
The 247 sqkm big island can be easily located from its just 51 km long ring road. The most important sightseeings are Big Buddha, Hin Ta & Hin Yai and the Na Muang waterfall.

Climate
Throughout the year Samui offers a tropical climate between 25 and 35 degrees celsius. The perfect holiday time is from January to October.

With 4 hospitals amd many national and international doctors Samui has got a high standard medical care.
Beaches
Beaches and bays line up like pearls on a string. The most lively beaches are Chaweng and Lamai on the east coast. The more quiet beaches are Thong Sai, Chaweng Noi, Choeng Mon, Mae Nam, Bpohut and many little bays.
Sports and recreation
All kind of water sports are possible with the biggest range on Chaweng and Lamai beach. You can also visit a Go-kart track, a mini golf course, an 18-hole football golf course, bungy jumping and more.
Food and Drinks
The whole range of national and international kitchen is available. Local meals are mostly made with seafood. A first class dining is possible in speciality restaurants where master chiefs conjuve culinary fantasies on the table.
Shopping
Here you can find a true Eldorado especially for imitated trade marks. And don't forget to regotiate! Pay at a maximum half price of the starting offer! For self suppliers they have a couple of super markets (7 eleven) and a shopping centre (Tesco Lotus).
Bars, Clubs & Discos
It is "loud" at night mainly on Chaweng beach. The night can be kicked off in "Islander Pub" or "Tropical Murphy's". Top discos are "Reggae Pub" and "Green Mango". Surrounded by a nighlife area with beer- and GoGo-Bars.
Wellness
No matter if you want a full body, a partly or a foot massage. On the beach or the coast road it can be made possible for cheap prices. A litte more expensive are the Spas (Erenda Spa) inside the island or in the hotels.
